software sucks

Hello,

after a great summer of festivals (but no love at all) and a new exciting work (that could be a joke), I'll try to write here more often. Maybe you aren't interested but I don't care. Blogs are for people who want to talk about their life, their oppinion, minds, dreams and other stuff. So I'll do the same stuff here - if you are interested I'm glad to see you here, when you think I've stolen you two minutes of your time please skip to the next pornwebsite ;)

After a bad harddisk crash two weeks ago I recommend everybody to backup his data in a regular way. Today I get a phone call from an acquaintance. She told me that she can't boot her pc. So I've driven to her to solve this problem. 'Disk boot failure' - same problem that I've had. Gladly her husband did a full backup of the content the day before. I got the window to open and saw that she uses norton. I had bad experiences with this programm in the past so I recommend to uinstall this. Good idea but hard to realise it. I can't uninstall this, there are error messages I never seen before.

How sick are this people to code such a buggy software. It's not the uinstall-problem alone, the system slows down extremely. To open an office-document I could drive to the next restaurant and order a coffee and be right back when the document has finished loading...

Now after four hours working on the problem without solution I've got headache, my next suggestion for her: use Mac ;)
